Regulations: CMS publishes CoP proposal in Federal Register

CMS publishes proposed changes to hospital/CAH CoPs

On May 26, CMS published in the Federal Register a proposed rule that would make changes to the conditions of participation (CoP) for hospitals and critical access hospitals (CAH). The proposed changes would allow for a new credentialing and privileging process for physicians and practitioners providing telemedicine services. CMS had previously released the proposal as a display copy.
