There were many interesting transmittals that CMS published last week but I wanted to revisit a topic I wrote about earlier this year because we continue to receive questions. As a recap, CMS announced in the CY2010 OPPS Final Rule a new benefit for Pulmonary Rehabilitation (PR) services effective on January 1, 2010. The two transmittals that were published at that time did little to give providers all of the details about coverage and billing for this new benefit.
