OIG issues PSC reviews
On May 7, the OIG issued two audit reports on the program safeguard contractors (PSC). The OIG found that while Medicare Part B payments represented 29% of PSCs’ oversight responsibility, Part B overpayments accounted for 89% of PSCs’ overpayment dollars referred for collection.
