OIG continues oxaliplatin reviews
On January 11, the OIG issued a report on oxaliplatin billing at Saint Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR. The OIG determined that in 2005, Saint Bernards incorrectly billed for eight 100-milligram vials (160 units) of oxaliplatin rather than four 100-milligram vials (80 units) because of order entry errors, resulting in an overpayment of $6,400.
