CMS posts NCDs for surgical never events
On June 29, CMS posted on its Web site the three NCDs for surgical never events.

CMS issues July 2009 lab NCDs
CMS has made available on its Web site the July 2009 update to its lab NCDs.
NCCI edits updated for the quarter
CMS has issued the latest versions of its NCCI edits for hospitals and physicians, effective July 1.
