Genetic counseling and testing can provide crucial information to patients. If your facility isn’t already providing the service, you might want to add it or check to see whether there is a program nearby you can refer patients to, says Kathleen Blazer, MS, CGC, genetic counselor at the City of Hope program in Greater Los Angeles.
