Two TN women plead guilty to $1.1M healthcare fraud scheme

Glenesha Moye and Tabitha Jones, owners and operators of EBC Healthcare, pleaded guilty to charges that the pair submitted false claims to Medicare and the Tennessee Medicaid agency (TennCare), according to a Department of Justice release.
EBC Healthcare was a healthcare company that claimed to offer psychotherapy and other services, according to an article in The Tennessean. Between 2005 and 2008 EBC submitted $1.1 million worth of claims to TennCare and Medicare for services that were either never provided or were performed without the required supervision.
