Although the government has cut back on many programs while the recession continues, HHS Inspector General Daniel Levinson wants compliance officers to know healthcare compliance is not going anywhere.
“I’m surprised anyone would consider cutting back on compliance. To me, it’s so counterintuitive,” Levinson said during the Health Care Compliance Association’s (HCCA) 13th Annual Compliance Institute April 27.
