CMS implements NCDs for surgery for diabetes
On April 17, CMS issued two transmittals implementing its recent national coverage determinations (NCD) for surgery for diabetes.
Effective date: February 12, 2009
Implementation date: May 18, 2009

CMS revises Provider Reimbursement Manual
On April 17, CMS issued a transmittal revising the Provider Reimbursement Manual to add the inflation factor for CY 2008 and delete the factor for CY 1998.
