The following are some tips that your laboratory can use to make sure it’s ready for the worst:

  • Perform a Hazard Vulnerability Analysis (HVA) to assess risks in the laboratory. An HVA is a tool laboratories use to help prioritize risk. Once you know what risks your facility is most likely to face, you can plan to mitigate those risks, he says.
