As a leader in your organization?s compliance department, you know how important it is to invest in and develop a strong program. You understand that money spent is money ultimately saved, even though you can?t see it on a balance sheet. But your hospital board members might need convincing. That?s why experts say it?s important to do your home-work, make a strong case for financial backing, and main-tain a running dialogue with the board members or administrators. Communicate the importance of a compliance program; sell it with hard numbers.
