When Advanced Breast Care Imaging in Allentown, PA, opened in October 2006, it had everything to provide state-of-the-art services to take women from screening to diagnosis and treatment. It included digital mammography, ultrasound, breast MRI, and stereotactic breast biopsy. But not, at least initially, positron emission mammography (PEM), a breast-specific version of whole-body positron emission tomography (PET), which Naviscan, Inc., in San Diego manufactures and sells.
