Although most hospital-based practices are probably breathing a sigh of relief that the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule didn’t decline this year, there is still too much happening in the industry for any of us to become too complacent. Some compliance and reimbursement issues are on a 2009 implementation time frame, and others are worthy of planning and early action this year.
