A U.S. District Court judge sentenced Carlos De Cespedesand Jorge De Cespedes, brothers and majority shareholders of The Pharmed Group, Corp., to 9 years imprisonment as a result of their plea to charges of conspiracy to commit health care–related wire fraud and tax evasion.
The brothers admitted to participating in a scheme that billed Kendall Regional Medical Center for medical supplies that were never delivered
