Boston facilities settle false claims charges

Boston Medical Center (BMC) and East Boston Neighborhood Health Center (EBNHC) agreed to pay $600,000 to the Massachusetts Uncompensated Care Pool to settle charges they submitted false claims to the program, according to a Department of Justice (DOJ) press release.
The DOJ alleged that BMC and EBNHC billed the Massachusetts Uncompensated Care Pool for services provided during times that are not covered by the program.
