Delaware doctor indicted for Medicare fraud

A federal jury indicted Delaware physician Hipolito Aguillon for allegedly submitting over 2,400 overstated Medicare reimbursement claims between March 2005 and December 2006, according to an Associated Press article.
 
Aguillon is a family practice physician who works out of Seaford. According to Delaware’s U.S. Attorney Colm Connolly, the state’s Medicare provider has known about Aguillon’s suspect billing since 2002.
