Clinical laboratory professionals across the country will most likely remember July 15, 2008, as the date Congress eliminated CMS’ Clinical Laboratory Competitive Bidding Demonstration Project when it passed the Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act of 2008 (MIPPA).
