Many facilities have already made the switch to digital mammography. These organizations use the new technology as a marketing advantage to draw in new patients and increase volume.
Digital technology offers a great appeal for patients and referring physicians. But where does that leave the 63% of facilities that haven’t yet made the switch to digital?
If you’re one of those analog facilities and fear you can’t compete in a digital world, you’re wrong, says Diane Bruno Himwich, a principal at The Himwich Group, a national consulting firm based in Albuquerque, NM.
