Greenwich Hospital settles fraud allegations

Greenwich Hospital will pay $605,274 to resolve allegations it submitted false claims to Medicare, according to a Department of Justice (DOJ) press release.
 
Between August 1, 2000 and December 31, 2004, Greenwich Hospital allegedly billed Medicare for two to five units of infusion therapy and chemotherapy administration, even though Medicare allowed payment for one unit per patient.
