CMS issues guidance on new regulations concerning therapy personnel qualifications and policies
On May 7, CMS issued a transmittal implementing regulatory changes to therapy services, including personnel qualifications and the timing of recertification plans of care.
Effective date: January 1, 2008
Implementation date: June 9, 2008

CMS releases MLN Matters articles
CMS released three MLN Matters articles last week related to transmittals reported in previous issues of Medicare Weekly Update.
