CMS publishes corrections to various 2008 Medicare regulations
On February 22, CMS published in the Federal Register corrections to various 2008 regulations including the 2008 Hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment System final rule and the 2008 Hospital Inpatient Prospective Payment System final rule.

CMS publishes extension of wage index reclassifications for certain hospitals
On February 22, CMS announced in the Federal Register that it has extended the expiration date of the wage index reclassifications for certain hospitals from September 30, 2007 through September 30, 2008.
