Healthcare organizations in Oregon have found their own approach to remedy the quality, availability, and completeness of CMS' National Provider Identifier (NPI) database. They're developing a new, state-based data repository, called the Oregon NPI/Authentication Data Repository, that will provide online provider information and batch downloads that are up to date and affordable.
