Tip: Train physicians for E/M missteps
Healthcare Auditing Weekly, January 22, 2008
The risk of HIPAA violations is pervasive and basic at any healthcare institution. People are curious under the best of circumstances and forgetful at times-despite the signs in elevators warning staff members not to discuss patients in common areas. - Signed acknowledgment of policies regarding appropriate information use
- Medical records office oversight
