CMS issues proposed decision memo on computed tomographic angiography
On December 14, CMS issued a proposed decision memo on coverage of computed tomographic angiography (CTA) services. CMS is proposing Medicare coverage of CTA for symptomatic patients with chronic stable angina at intermediate risk of coronary artery disease (CAD), and for symptomatic patients with unstable angina at low risk of short-term death and intermediate risk of CAD.

CMS issues proposed decision memo on continuous positive airway pressure therapy for obstructive sleep apnea
On December 14, CMS issued a proposed decision memo on continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) therapy for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) patients. CMS is proposing to make numerous changes to the Medicare conditions of coverage applicable to CPAP therapy for OSA.
