A new rural health clinic offering primary and preventative healthcare services for patients, regardless of their ability to pay, is set to open in April 2006 in Fulton County, PA. The Tri-State Community Health Center's Fulton County office will operate under a $650,000 grant from the federal government's Health and Human Services Administration's (HHS) Bureau of Primary Health Care.
The new facility will feature a case management office where patients will be assisted with financial and insurance matters, as well as other human services. There will be 15 exam rooms and the center will offer a wide range of primary healthcare services, including treatment of acute and chronic illnesses; education, screening and prevention activities; immunizations; family planning; and routine gynecological services.
