CMS to help pay for flu antiviral medications

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid (CMS) recently launched a demonstration project to help beneficiaries pay for flu antiviral medications. The demonstration is for those enrolled in Medicare Part B who do not have drug coverage, and for those who are treated during a covered Part A hospital stay. The program will run through May 31, 2005. For more information, visit the CMS Web site.
