Pfizer recently announced plans to offer discounts of up to 37% on prescription drugs to 43 million uninsured U.S. residents. Individuals without prescription drug coverage who have annual incomes less than $31,000 and families who have annual incomes less than $45,000 will receive an average discount of 37% on prescription drugs. For those who do not have prescription drug coverage but have a higher annual income than the income limits previously mentioned, Pfizer will offer an average discount of 15%.
Pfizer will set up a toll-free number on August 2, 2004 for people to call for more information.
