Medicare drug card to offer savings of up to 92 percent

Medicare beneficiaries can start using their new drug discount card on June 1, and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) say some can save as much as 92 percent on their prescription drugs.
People with a Medicaid drug discount card and an income of less than $12,569 for singles and $16,862 for married couples can save between 29 and 77 percent on brand name drugs and as much as 92 percent on generic drugs.
