Federal regulation looks to improve vaccination rates

You may feel some extra pressure to get your annual flu shot this year thanks to a new federal law that requires hospitals to report their vaccination rates for all workers at their facility.
Hospitals need to report their numbers to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's National Healthcare Safety Network for public reporting, detailing how many of their workers were vaccinated. The mandate covers everyone from clerical staff to volunteers, custodians and physicians.
