AHRQ seeks to improve evidence-based practices
Case Management Insider, July 28, 2015

In a blog post on the AHRQ website, Richard Kronick, Ph.D, director of AHRQ, said he recently announced that the agency will pay for the Centers of Excellence to look three times at health systems that are successfully using evidence based practices and also look at how effective evidence-based practices are in changing health outcomes and maximizing resources.
The AHRQ program will dole out some $52 million for the five-year initiative. The money will come from the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Trust Fund, which was established by the Affordable Care Act.
