CMS releases proposed rule to update inpatient rehab payments

CMS issued a proposed rule in the April 23 Federal Register that will not only update the pay rate for inpatient rehabilitation facilities, but also revise reporting requirements and quality measures. The American Hospital Association has promised to weigh in with a further analysis, so stay tuned.
