Government gives consumers additional resources in choosing a nursing home

Patients have a new resource to use when choosing a nursing home.
CMS announced February 20 that it had strengthened its Five Star Quality Rating System for nursing homes on its website, Nursing Home Compare. The goal was to give families more information when choosing a facility to meet the needs of the patient.
