Consumers care about healthcare prices and quality, and will shop around if they are provided with that information, according to a survey published by The Regence Group, a health insurance company based in Portland, OR.

The survey of 2,000 people in four states showed that seven out of 10 people would seek out information about prices and quality of nonemergency medical services.
