Joint Commission Wiki to include collaborative standards development

The Joint Commission's WikiHealthCare application has been expanded to include collaborative standards development.
According to a formal announcement, participants-including patient care providers, healthcare administrators, and researchers-will have the opportunity to work together in providing input at the earliest stages of standards development.
The first standards that will be considered on the Wiki are
- Transfer of health information
- Pharmacist review of protocols for contrast agents in radiology
- Provision of healthcare services using clinical microsystems and client-centered care
