Proposed revisions to EC chapter open for comment

The Joint Commission has posted proposed revisions to the Management of the Environment of Care (EC) chapter as part of its Standard Improvements Initiative.
Feedback on the proposed changes will be accepted for the next six weeks, starting September 19, 2007.
The chapter applies to professionals in the areas of environment of care, infection control, medication management, performance improvement, and human resources.
