Joint Commission International releases update hospital standards

Joint Commission International releases update to international standards for hospitals The Joint Commission International (JCI) announced revisions to its international accreditation standards for hospitals.
Specific issues found in the U.S.-based standards have been transitioned into JCI standards.
The standards will be beginning in January 2008, be the basis of JCI's on-site hospital accreditation survey.
