Joint Commission receives WHO contract for testing ICPS

The Joint Commission announced earlier this week it has been awarded a World Health Organization (WHO) contract for global field testing of the International Classification for Patient Safety (ICPS).
According to this week's announcement, the goal of the ICPS project is to "create a classification system that optimizes the comparability of patient safety data and information across international borders."
