DNV moves toward obtaining deeming authority from CMS

DNV, Inc., announced this week the purchase of TUV Healthcare Specialists to create DNV Healthcare, Inc. according to a press release.
The purchase is expected to help with DNV, Inc.'s ongoing effort to obtain deeming authority as an alternative accreditation authority from CMS.
TUVHS is a healthcare systems evaluation and training company with expertise in the application of CMS rules and regulations, according to a statement by DNV, Inc.
