New executive director and director of home care accreditation appointed

The Joint Commission announced two additional appointments this week: Debra Zak, Ph.D., RN, as executive director of the Home Care Accreditation Program, and Robert Floro, RRT, as director of the Home Care Accreditation program.
Zak is a 15-year veteran of The Joint Commission and former field director of Survey Management and Development in the Accreditation and Certification Operations division. Floro was promoted from his role as senior associate director of The Joint Commission's Home Care Accreditation program.
