Joint Commission revises MS.1.20

On July 10, The Joint Commission (formerly known as JCAHO) announced a revision to its MS.1.20 standard, which concerns medical staff bylaws and regulations. Revisions were made to detail more extensively authority between medical staff and the medical staff executive committee. Revisions also include new Elements of Performance.
