CDC infection tracking system available to hospitals

A new secure online reporting system to track healthcare-associated infections is now available to all hospitals nationwide, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), which expects about 1,000 facilities to join.
The system, called The National Healthcare Safety Network, provides tools for data analysis and sharing information inside and outside of hospitals.
