U.S. House members push rural healthcare bill

A bill that would improve rural healthcare by extending provisions form a 2003 law would mean adjustment payments for rural hospitals, ambulance providers, and practitioners, reports the Associated Press.

Fifty House members pushed the legislation, which would give more flexibility in the number of beds hospitals can fill and address rural practitioners' information technology needs.
