Vermont hospitals can be compared to others

Patients of Brattleboro Memorial Hospital (BMH) in Brattleboro, VT, can now compare BMH to other hospitals in the state and nation by looking at the recently released 2007 Hospital Report Card Comparison, which ranks a hospital in categories such as quality of care, patient satisfaction, and pricing. Currently, Vermont is the only state to have all its hospitals in compliance with the report, according to the Brattleboro Reformer.
The report shows that BMH scored 100 % on most components of heart attack care, and had no central line infections in the last six months. BMH did, however, rank below average for room satisfaction.
