JCAHO: Goals FAQ doc release 'early next year'
Accreditation Connection, December 11, 2006
JCAHO spokeswoman Charlene Hill says the Goals FAQs are in review.
"Expect to see them early next year," Hill says.
The goals FAQ document is highly anticipated by the field because it should answer all, if not most, commonly asked questions about complying with the 2007 goals. The document includes answers to questions received by the JCAHO's standards interpretation group.
For the 2006 goals, the JCAHO released the FAQ document in February, one month after the January 1 implementation due date for organizations to comply with the goals. Click here to see the 2006 FAQ document.
