JCAHO: Tell us what you think about IM, HR, PI standards
Accreditation Connection, July 31, 2006
The JCAHO last week posted to its Web site questionnaires for three of its hospital program standards chapters: information management (IM), human resources (HR), and performance improvement (PI).
"As part of our continual efforts to improve the quality of our accreditation manuals, the Joint Commission is asking you to tell us about your experiences with understanding and implementing the standards and elements of performance," reads a brief description about the questionnaires. "The information that we gather will help us produce a more user-friendly manual."

There are separate questionnaires for ambulatory, behavioral healthcare, critical-access hospital, home care, laboratory, long-term care, and office-based surgery.
