Case study released on meeting USP 797 requirements

The case study, "USP 797 Training Requirements: A Case Study" about Swedish Medical Center has been posted for access on PublicRelationsNewsroom.com. The paper was published by Baxa Corp. USP 797 was released in January 2004, creating a new national standard for sterile preparation. The JCAHO encourages adoption of the standards in its medication management chapter, and many individual state pharmacy boards are also including the standards in their inspections.
