The JCAHO found more than 23 standards violations during a survey of Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, WA, according to The News Tribune.

Problems were found in late March in the emergency room, operating rooms, home health and hospice program, and elsewhere. JCAHO surveyors also said the hospital doesn't always follow its own policies and procedures, according to the 16-page inspection report Good Samaritan released.

Some of the problems are being fixed. Other violations will be discussed between hospital and JCAHO officials, The News Tribune reported.
