Hospitals should focus their infection control and prevention activities on the areas that pose the highest risk to the institution and its community. What factors should be considered when performing this risk assessment?
 
Answer: Factors may include:
·         The geographic location, community, and populations served by the institution
·         The care, treatment, and services that the organization provides
·         Any issues or concerns that have arisen from the analysis of infection surveillance and control activities
