The Joint Commission has released pre-publication standards for behavioral healthcare organizations that provide prevention and wellness promotion services. The new standards require that the organization’s prevention and wellness promotion services have a written plan, are managed by trained or certified staff to meet the needs of an identified community, and are evaluated and reported to leadership.

Visit The Joint Commission website to view the new requirements and Elements of Performance.
