John M. Eisenberg Patient Safety and Quality Award accepting nominations

The John M. Eisenberg Patient Safety and Quality Award is now accepting nominations for the 2011 award.
This annual award recognizes major achievements for individuals and organizations in improving healthcare quality and patient safety at organizations nationwide. Three levels of wards are given each year–individual awards, as well as “Innovation in Patient Safety and Quality” for both local and national projects.
Application forms can be found on The Joint Commission website or the National Quality Forum website. Applications will be accepted through October 3, 2011.
